A native Kansan, Steve Stephenson has photographed his family for more than 50 years. His first images were shot in the 1960s in Wichita, Kansas. While traveling with his wife, Fran, and four children, he photographed images in California, Colorado, Maine, New Mexico, Oregon, Texas, Cape Code and Martha's Vineyard. Over the years, Steve, 88, has followed all the advances in photography. His first photos were shot in black and white with a Leica M4. Some of these he developed in his basement photo lab. In the 1960s, he embraced Kodachrome. Today, he shoots digital and is an avid Apple user with an iPad 2 and a Mac desktop. Steve and his wife Fran reside in Wichita, Kansas, and enjoy living in College Hill Park.
